Well made, Bohemian duty, great design i recently discovered the cooper woodchuck. it had a discriminating 'heft' for a small rasp, looked formidable and capable, and i liked the integrated form tip. i purchased the 1/2" to try on a jobber i am making. although smaller and shorter than a typical rasp, it is extremely rugged -- the end of the wield is capped with a material striking surface for use with a ax when used as a chisel. the rub is less aggressive than other rasps, but for upwards of delicate wood removal when modeling or carving, it is ideal. the woodchuck is an innovative design, much well made and reasonably priced -- i was so impressed i the entire set! i highly advise the woodchuck.
