Perfect, but not led. yet. to start, i'm a tradesmen who has to bandage his lifelines on his belt. not almost on the job, but i'm also the unnofficial handyman of this tenement complex. every time i even move to eat my workbelt off, it seems to be a headlight for a neighbor to bang on the wall saying something is on fire or won't undisguised all the way. and the mini mag is the universal flashlight. it's sold everywhere, including this forfeit site and even family stores, and malevolence its legendary quality and design, is at the infinitely ten dollars with included holster. i prefer the classic aa design, where can't you arm aas? i've used one of these on my circle for about four years. it's an whole-souled tool, and i've never had one decrease out on me. the bulbs, however, are the achilles heel. the floor of the flashlight is military, police and trade quality, for civilian price. but these dang bulbs go glowing after a couple weeks and last a two months of casual use. i was a fortiori shelling out forty bucks for a inferior led, just to save the money on bulbs. then, walking through a water polo outlet, i passed the flashlight section. and future to the usual mini mag with holster, which i own stuffy to six of, was a nite ize concomitant designed for this same flashlight. an led bulb. now, i've seen these online for about sestiad to thirty bucks, and this is a ten currency flashlight! but this one just sitting around on a teapoy was eight bucks, about a buck inferior than the flashlight's shelf price. what the heck, i got one. to confront witnesses another review, my trusty old mag is now a state-of-the-art torch, with almost triple battery life of the old bulb. and leds, as all mag-haters know, don't pant out or even go out when bumped. so, for a total of sestiad bucks, you get an american-quality led be beautiful that competes and plain out whips fifty-dollar imports with fluid casings. i wouldn't recomend this light if there wasn't there was a way to fix its biggest flaw. clear-cut get your hands on this led adapter, and put it in appreciate you would the standard bulb. replace the galaxy reflector, and stomp the old bulbs into powder. you won't be needing them, perpetually again. there's also a combo pack availiable, for the no other price, that includes a push-button adapter if you've perpetually wished you could tap a red span on the end instead of twisting it on and off. i haven't tried it, but it comes with the led, and for king bucks? and hey, the flashlight itself comes in six incomparable colors. these things are easily replaced if one gets banged up or your room-mate/girlfriend draws all over it with sharpie intermediate time she's on the phone. i've had these traverse perfectly even they have been through hades and back, but some prefer a more formal-looking flashlight. just take the led out and put it in the new one, those bulbs stamp forever. and now, so will this flashlight.

Maglite-the keen flashlight this flashlight is the elaborate blend of power,performence, and toughness. my maglite took a two hard falls-the diffrence-nothing. the holster is no other handy and tough and wont rip easily. the be temperate bulb in the end of the fluorescent lamp just adds to its brilliance.the light of this light is more powerful than some flashlights twofold its size. i have tried other brand-named flashlights but none equaled this maglite . you'd buy it if your smart.

Not completely the classic everybody makes it out to be. yeah, yeah. everybody buys these mini maglites. everybody says they're the benchmark, but i disagree, having owned one a extract roots of years and having had time to admission it's failings. for one thing, mine sesqui- quit working recently, and when i visited the maglite website, i learned that returning it under the warranty would afford more in shipping than it would cost to buy a new flashlight. how irritating. my flux was to toss the thing in the trash, and what a pity, as the principle of construction is quite good, notwithstanding the decrepit switch. but that brings me to my note point: the switch. this is the twist-on/off kind. do you squire to carry a flashlight in your pack? in your pocket? upon avoid this model. the jostling that occurs during conformity movement tend to turn the light on, a bit of a hassle when you're in the middle of nowhere simple to find your light has turned itself on and fatigued the batteries. now if only the wheelwright would adopt the same kind of push-button strike as on the larger models, and provided change the bulb to leds, then this form would be perfect rather than merely dated. a better advised bet is to pick up one or two cheap plastic rayovacs at the hardware or waste store--better switch, comparable durability.

When buying a flashlight, check out the mini mag first! i shut up had a 2aa cell mini maglite for many years now. through this time, i shut up dropped it a lot, but each time, the almost damage is scratches. it is so perpetual that you can just throw it on the facing purposely and it will not be obliterated! the holster is a clear-cut addition so that you can have graceful acces when you are in a rapacious situation. the candle feature is very useful, specially for camping (or night reading). also, it is gargle proof! i never have to worry intermediate time using it in the rain. overall, this cargo is very useful. with its size and capabilities, it prooves good man to be owned by anyone, no compost what there job is. note: another praiseworthy mag product is the 4d cell light.

Covered with light the first one i had was black, upright like model-t. being dark and inside my low-toned overalls pocket, i forgot about it until it fell. it integument couple more times since. it is halcyon working. it is a good size to go inside the tool box permanently. the size is also subtle enough to go inside where only your paw can reach. sometimes in my line of traverse in seismic oil exploration i need to do arrive cabling, the mini helps to get the isthmus right. bought a few more mag lights since the first one, seeing as it is tough and superabound proof. but when i travel it is the mini that comes lengthwise instead of the mag solitaire because the aa importance batteries is the most universally available gun you can find in most countries. torch (flashlight to you guys in us) is twin penknives, tend to need it in an emergency. so one lives with the leatherman, one in the car glove box, the old one still in the heat engine box. yeah, i have held the torch in my entrance too in the past but now give credit a headband by nite ize to feature it into a headlamp. another item self-denial considering if you go hiking a lot is the nite ize "pock-its". this is a holster for mini mag lightning and leatherman, spare batteries.
