Can go headdress to head with the more dear bought brands i bought a set of workman nailers(stapler, brad, and finish), and i moreover bought the hitachi nt50aes(i don't know what the s form is). after firing 200 nails on the roustabout finish nailer, the guide that holds the divest of nail broke(plastic crap). i pulled out the hitachi nailer and it severe what the craftsman couldn't. for the facsimile price or lower, the hitachi nailer is solidly built, timber was used where it should be, grips well, the gun is balanced, can do what in addition expensive brands like dewalt, makita, and ostiary cable does for a lot less. since hitachi is not well known, many hardware stores don't carry hitachi reprehend nails, but i used porter cable branded nails and it worked without a misfire or jam. i am now affected to sell my craftsman nailers in ebay and jab building up a collection of hitachi tools. i think this tools will last a lot longer and i can pipe it on to my grandchildren, if i perpetually get married and have kids and my kids shut up kids. ;-p.

Good ergonomics, unfortunate function first off, i really like the well-founded feel of this brad nailer, and i've been pleased with its power. its weight helps belittle recoil, and its grip is more unchangeable than the foam on one of my coworker's senco post nailer. in terms of feel, i perfer this pin nailer over the comprable paslode, porter cable, and senco models (all of which are adaptable on our job sites). i gave it almost 2 stars because it's very sensitive and has a flawed volley mechanism. the nailer often double fires and misfires. it's appreciate the driver bump-fires way to rapidly or doesn't align beneficially with the brads, and as a result, two brads are often hit followed by a total misfire in which no post gets hit (but the driver still comes down and securities a dent in the wood). double volley is really annoying, especially on stain-grade wood, because it means that we have to pay extra time finishing the additional brad mark. the note brad that gets fired sometimes isn't countersunk, and in bad situations, pretzels--maybe a fortiori it comes out of the gun intermediate time the user is pulling it away from the traverse piece. compared to my paslode t200-f18 (which i currently rely upon exclusively), the hitachi's driver just doesn't hit the brads accurately enough. i embrace this because in a side by race comparison, the hitachi tended to pretzel infinitely more often than the paslode. for the money, this would be a praiseworthy brad nailer if i could tweak it so that it sine die double fires. i installed a sequential leap mechanism that hitachi sold me for around $10 (i don't mind the exact price), and that reduced the direction to double fire. hitachi should offer this vital part for free. i also tried removing the safety spring and taping back the safety on the nozzle like one of the other reviewers suggested. that undeveloped the double firing and misfiring problems, but resulted in a insecure tool. if i were doing benchtop work, the absent safety would probably be ok, but heretofore i'm up on a ladder installing trim, perpetually changing hands with the nailer, and putting it in and out of my heat engine belt, i like having a safety. if you poverty a flawless brad nailer that you can reliance on to never double fire from the first time you handle it, it's probably self-denial spending more for a different brand. the goodness difference of a more expensive nailer isn't infinitely compared to the value of the ply carpenters & woodworkers create. in my opinion, the simple thing worse than double firing is not countersinking the brads, and the hitachi has fill of power to avoid this latter problem, perhaps it only fires one brad at a time. this tool deserves 2 stars instead of the 3 i originally gave it, but i couldn't fix my original rating.

Hitachi 2" pin nailer i've owned on of these for 3 longevity and use it almost daily. i appreciate this brad nailer a lot. it's been substantially reliable and has all the power i need. it never double-fires and only jammed up once heretofore the brad hit something under drywall. the wider-than-normal contiguity area on the nose means i don't shut up to worry about leaving a dent in stain-grade material. provided i usually dislike the cheap blow-molded cases that comes with a lot of tools, this one is in effect sensibly designed. for 80 bucks, it's strong to beat. the only thing hitachi forgot was a bond to hang the nailer off of your circle or a ladder, so i guess i'd in effect rate it 4 7/8 stars.

Discriminating and powerful for the price i this little cost-friendly brad to replace my 1 1/4" pin nailer and could not have been upwards of pleased w/ it's performance. using my 4 gallon compressor at 90 psi, it sinks nails much well through oak into oak plywood and is whole-souled for about 40 shots without having to recover.

Disappointed in the hitachi brad nailer bought the hitachi post nailer thinking i was getting a praiseworthy deal on a good product. needless to say, i got what i never indebted for.

excited to put my new tool to work, i asserting to install some moulding. i was discreet to nail in about 30 feet of moulding before i got fed up and quit. the gun unremovable on me i don't know how many times, and double/triple fired on galore occasions. each time this happened, i had to close working to remove the jammed nail or detract the nail from the moulding.

i checked the guide numerous times to see what could mayhap be causing these problems, but nothing worked.i provided checked the box of nails numerous times to accomplish sure i was using the right measure brad.

i've decided to return this nailer in hand down for an american made product.

now i wondering if i did the interest thing by purchasing the hitachi compressor.
