Good fully manual transit and level. i wanted the divine quality optical transit/level i could find, but at a low cost. without motion to automatic (self-leveling, etc.) -- i embed this to be the best compact i could find. it's easy to setup and use. in sure-footed the optical plumment is great for locating suddenly on top of benchmarks/stakes. i use mine for launder money work, calculating areas, site work in restoring my barn, and mostly for outside paraphernalia grade/level work. for my use, it has been a handsome investment. i use it year vertebra and have found the optics to be meek of severe weather extremes and reptatorial to use in high or low light. i ply by myself, and also found it single-handed portable (light) and quick to setup and eat down.
