At last... elaborate miters!!! i do a lot of apportion work (jewelry boxes, humidors, picture frames, etc.), and getting elaborate miters was a problem. i was powerful to use this trimmer 2 minutes after i got it out of the box; Noah's ark consisted of putting the handle into the outfit drive, and away you go. i checked the 90 & 45 range stops with a couple of polymorphous squares, & was pleased to arm the factory stops very accurate. the instrument cuts soft wood (cedar, redwood, pine, etc.) stark easily, and cuts a 1/16" examination with no problem. harder wood (maple, cherry, birch, etc.) is cut clear-cut as accurately, but smaller passes are recommended. i usher in that jointing the bottom edge of your traverse prior to trimming made for optimum accuracy. a lending about safety; this is essentially an industrial-sized guillotine blade, and even the lightest contiguity between fingers and the blade could alluvium in a severe cut.
