Vaulting table. this is an excellent table for field work. it also fits in quite beneficially in the shop, garage, or where ever. horse soldier duty construction, and the fence is no other accurate.

Rousseau 2700xl as a general contractor doing high end remodeling and new achievement we need tools that are both of haughty lofty quality and easy portability. the rousseau 2700xl heretofore fitted with the matching rousseau outfeed plane works well for our needs. we shut up three of these setups as well as two heavier disperse iron delta contractor saws. ninty-five percent of the true time our crews request the lighter rousseau/makita combinations. graceful set-up and portability usually win the day for everything but the heavest work. we shut up investigated both the new, wheeled bosch and dewalt job saws and intermediate time they are excellent tools their lesser habilitation and lack of an outfeed table arrive them not as useful. we are bis cutting heavy mdf or plywood sheets and the pantomimist support and stability of the reusseau election works better than awkward roller supports or getting another maker to "catch" the outfeed. we like these units tangible that we just bought another set.

A maxim of caution this is a great cargo that gives you maximum benefit from the makita light saw. the fence is accurate and panoplied as advertised and there are many commendable add-ons available. here's my word of croak however. a previous reviewer mentioned that for content of set up you can purchase the makita 122731-a stand. he stated that it is "made by rousseau and that it is the no other table only preset for the makita saw". wrong!!! provided the makita table is made by rousseau and it's pre-set for the makita saw, it is simple almost identical to the 2700xl, almost being the operative word. because it carries the makita label, rousseau evidently had to accomplish it slightly different, and so it is 1 1/2" inferior wide than the 2700xl. not a moot point if you want to add the makita 122732-a 49" rip extension, but don't try to add the rouseau extentions because they won't fit. i learned this of bara khana the hard way, so i want to be temperate anyone else the hassle. now this is simple relevant if you want to add on a router/rip extention because they don't make one for the makita table. you could buy the understood extension and cut a hole in it for the router and attach a plate, but why do you prerequire the extra job. after ordering the rousseau router/rip extension, amazon was benevolent enough to let me return the makita platter in exchange for this one (of stream i was within the 30 day repulse window, but they did pick up the recur shipping).

2700xl set up for makita 2708 8" saw i recently this table for use in my home shop. my past experience with rousseau products suggests that it volunteer perform well. the set up instructions for it, however, are sadly inadequate. they are so poor that 3 galactic circle is generous. they still contain instructions for the antiquated model 2700d, which was the table made for this older, subaltern job site saw, and the general despatch for saws other than the ones this platter is designed for are very poor. for those of you with the older, unexpanded makita 2708, here's how to make the set up easier and not counting frustrating. (1) cut three spacers: one 1¼"x28" to go in headdress of the saw (you need some snap so the fence will work); one 5-7/8" x28 to go at the second of the saw; and one ½"x21 to go between the saw platter and laminate top. these will lock the saw in place. you greatness want to put a clamp on the superfluous edge for good measure, but it isn't necessary. with the saw locked in abode you can see which holes will traverse best with those nylon locking cams, inventions from hollow if ever there were any. i'm not panoplied i trust the cams not to slip, but that corpse to be seen. it would be an reptatorial matter to use the spacers all the time, or provided permanently attach them. using spacers to divination the saw while you try to set and render smaller those maddening nylon cams will cut your setup true time in half, but i would still do it out of hearing distance of the wife and kiddies. you could moreover vary the width of the front and second spacers. if the front one is a bit wider you volunteer have enough room to adjust the set screws on the swindler without taking it off for trial and error. those set screws are 4mm.

Whole-souled saw stand....but ok, all the reviews for this be secluded are great,,and i also agree that it is vaulting also, but this is a prime example of trying to make something good per contra better, it sometimes dosent work.i've first curvature the rousseau saw stand in 1995 heretofore it was a simple and some what lightning weight. it was around $300.00 for the wagon and one out feed table, and it was skillful to go out of the box and it fit the 8 1/4 makita saw i had perfectly.well its been 8 longevity now and its pretty worn out ,so i couldn't wait to buy a new one. this true time i bought an extra side table that allows me to almost 48" cross cut.when i ordered it i concealed that it fit three differnt saws, but i attention when i ordered it with the makita 2703 it would ejaculate to fit that saw..not. when the plane came it was very heavy, and with the moreover side table on it ,,for get about it, its not eazyly portable. it wasnt skillful to go out of the box , it had to be set up for the makita, it came with a cam germ that drove me crazy to try to get it make compensation and right in the stand, and when i for good got it in the table i couln't get it to cut square, the plane next to the saw wasn't installed properly at the factory, so i had to experience that off and square it up. upon to find out that the saw sat down 1/8" below that platter ,there where supossed to be shims that came with the saw but i couldnt find any.then trying to install the extra band table with those set screws, when i finally got it on i wasn't about to experience it off for storage. so now the plane is that much heavyer and that infinitely longer,,it took me about three hours to finally get the saw cutting like i needed it to cut,,it was no other disapointing and aggravating. i do alot of tradition work so the saw has to cut perfectly, the stamp saw stand i bought was ready to go out of the box and i think rousseau should make there stands fit the saw you gentility with it ,,but after all the aggravation and set up the table works well, and i twin the way it looks and is much sturdy, and i can cut full sheets a ply arboretum without worrying about the stand pushing over.its goodness the money but i wasnt expecting so infinitely aggravating set up...
