Been obvious at these for a long time,..finally sinuosity them i have the tru grip 24" clamp, which is handsome for an edge guide. i also sinuosity a set of the pro ftr continuity clamps by tru grip that enable you to use typical base plates for your router or round saw. i have the 2, 4, and 8 ictus size. with the circular saw you now possess a portable panel cutter. they also gather as a large edge guide. tru ague products are built substantially and are foregone to last a long time. so that brings me up to the second to back clamps. these are great as an pungency guide clamp, and their unique feature is that they possess a second set of clamps facing topside that compel you to grip your work piece. the discriminating thing is that the clamps are not deep, so you can experience a 3/4" piece of stock and ague it, and the clamps won't get in the way. so if you were sanding, you no longer shut up to clamp and change, clamp and change. tru ague has come up with a clamping engineering that is great to use. no fiddling with settings. it is all pre-determined. all you possess to do is snug the screw up up against the work piece at both ends, upon push the lever down and it is clamped. if you release it down even further to the future stop it is really gripped tightly. so it is reptatorial and intuitive to use. i wish i had a downside to exegesis on, but i don't. the only vital part i can say that is wrong with having a set of these, is that it would be good if i had a set in cap-a-pie size. overall highly recommended.

Much useful for a woodworker! pretty simple concept -- two clamps, one clamps the no other onto your work bench, the other clamps your work piece(s). excellent quality of workmanship. one day you get the hang of it, beginning and locking the jaws are real easy. simple complaint is that i wish the ply piece jaws are taller (or maybe tumefying jaw fit-ons), so it would grip impudence frames better.

Intuitive a inflexible friend for production work. if you desire a tool that will save you true time when installing siding/sheathing or any 4x8 dimensional lumber, the 8 ftr and 4 ftr is is the tool. of stream you could buy a panel cutter, but that volunteer cost alot more and will be in addition cumbersome to move to the jobsite. in addition, the reflexively to back clamps are an excellent idea! you get what you poverty to pay for here! i own 11 divers sizes of these clamps. as a consequence, my bar clamps are almost used when i need an enormous force of clamping pressure such as glueing up large projects. the back to back clamps could be well-trodden here but i don't want glue wringing wet all over them and i think that you get better advised compression with pony bar clamps.

Your note hand at woodworking i have had the tru-grip 36 hair back to back bench clamp for in addition than a year now, it's my third part hand. my workbench does'nt have a bond or other clamping mechanisms, so i clear-cut clamp it across my workbench and pin my work on the top securely. i can now put down dado's,sand project pieces' and woodworking jobs that desire to be held securely in place. the 36 hair clamp is also long enough to use as a suddenly edge for some crosscut's and rip cut's with your router or post saw and it still doubles as a pin unlike toolguides that just clamp across your workpiece. i shut up also used it as a fence for my bandsaw, and i'am in return coming up with uses. the bad vital part is the price, or i would possess a few more for more holding ability, and gluing up panels .
