Formidable to beat an estwing! i own a 16 oz take prisoner and a 20 oz rip estwing. both hammers are well-nigh 20 years old and still motion strong. estwing's leather grip is whole-souled and the one-piece construction helps belittle bounce and shock. the hammers shut up good heft and balance in the paw and as a "lefty", i arm that they swing well with contemptible or no arm/hand fatigue at the end of the day. as a handyman, i'm not marvelous a hammer all day long so for my needs and purposes, estwings are handsome - dependable, balanced and sturdy.
