Victorinox par value and leatherman versitility i don't think anyone can brand victorinox quality. this is one fine tool. in the obsolete victorinox knifes didn't have a locking wedge and this one doesn't have that drawback. all the blades embargo so, for example, you can put pressure on the screwdriver and it won't course shut on you. i haven't used this one too muckle so if there are any weaknesses i couldn't nick it you what they are. i do possess another swiss army knife and it has been no other durable. possible negatives are that this tool is made of stainless steel. that's whole-souled for corrosion but i have used the material saw on nails, just because the importance was right for the job, and the hammer start to wear quikly. stainless steel is clear-cut not as hard as plain old charcoal steel. maybe they could use titanium but that would tool the cost up. i certainly wouldn't poverty them to use plain old carbon reenforce because rust would be almost unavoidable. clean is probably the best choice. one vital part i have to mention is the workshop edge on the blades. they come guillotine sharp. you couldn't get them any cut purse and even though they are not signal carbon steel they hold there edge much well. you will eventually have to chip (flint) them but you will get some use out of them first. this tool has the things you probably need the most; knives, screwdrivers, can opener, timber saw, metal file, awl, reamer, scraper, ruler, extractor and wire cutter. what it doesn't shut up are: scissers, wood saw, magnifying lens, toothpick, tweasers, corkscrew, bird scaler and maybe some others that the understood knives might have.

Good multi-tool this is my second swiss tool, i destroyed my first one about a month ago. i got the first one as a gift and was no other impressed with the quality of its construction. i usher in it built rugged enough where i could use it clear-cut like a regular set of tools. other replacement multi-tools just seemed to flimsy for me. i discovered that it was rough to live without.

One of the best. pros: 1) praiseworthy steel quality and heavy duty. 2) tools undisguised individually (no clumping), lock in place, prison with push button. feel comfortable in vice mode. 3) victorinox's brand name and warranty, desire i say more? cons: 1) you cannot pack the tool yourself since you can't unscrew the tool, because it uses pins as the pivot pins. 2) they ought to minus the big flat screwdriver and use one springs. 3) the files in original and x pattern seem to made of casehardened steel,so the facing will chipped off(i suggest the rs pattern the best) 4) i hate that they use the cheap springs in the locking buttoms and the scissors, the springs volunteer degrade over time.

The best multitool i have great experience with that tool. in my work, all my technicians and my partners use that heat engine in a different kinds of field activities. the tools are changeable and durables. i tried the leatherman chopping sea too, but itsn't the same quality. i advise the victorinox cs plus model, with a restorative scissors and a six bit set!!!
