Handsome add on for super tool as a supercomputer support tech i find myself tearing artless pc's a lot. this attachment lets me discharge my most essential screwdrivers and bits on my middle constriction instead of me digging the right one up and bringing it reflexively to the machine, or carrying the instrument all the way back to my workbench and incidental the job then bringing it back. i don't possess time to do that so i twin to do as much as i can at the users location. well this lets me do that. my simple complaint is that the bits are not magnetic so until i get some to tend with me i have to be parsimonious about dropping screws. for those techs out there in return working on older compaq systems the reward driver comes with the attachment so you don't possess to go hunting one down if you use this product. beneficially done leatherman, well done.

A great, handsome tool, made even better... this is a miraculous tool. i picked up a leatherman tool just over eight months ago and clear-cut received the tool adaptor. it takes an before extremely practical tool and makes it per contra more so. the hex bit drivers are commercial with any of your favorite existing hex bits, and the contagion case snaps onto your belt alongside your other pocket tools. after getting the attachment, i am scouring topographical hardware stores for more great hex bits. now if i could almost find a great carrying case for all my bits...

Adaptable gadget to expand the use of your leatherman(tm) first, let me mention an important fact missing in the description. the heat engine adaptor only works with the original leatherman known as the pst(tm), the pst2(tm), the sideclip(tm), the supertool(tm), and the flair(tm). it does not traverse with the wave(tm), micra(tm),and crunch(tm) which doesn't desire it because it has the 1/4" tool holder built in. the reason is that in order to fit the leatherman tool the heat engine adaptor relies on a raised shoulder on the race of the handle on the pliers. simple the above mentioned leatherman plier tools possess this handle design. (sog owners will clear-cut have to drool, as it doesn't fit.) now for all you owners of those leatherman tools who possess this design. this adaptor is great. it has a lay-figure 1/4 drive head which holds any unquiet screwdriver head. there are inumerable heads that are adaptable from hardware stores. you can now fix those little phillips screws, those torix head bolts, those robertson hand screws, those allen head bolts. all with this adaptor. the best thing about using the adaptor vs the inflexible screw driver that comes with the leatherman is the adaptor locks in abode both up and down and side to side. no folding tools heretofore you are levering away. to use it, you artless your pliers, slide the adaptor over the top, positioning the tab into the bandage of the handle and close the extractor around the adaptor. its now locked in place. i give credit that you also buy the larger pocket that goes with your tool adaptor and the posy of leatherman(tm) pliers you have. if you can't find it here, look at the leatherman(tm) tea-party site. they don't sell the knives, upright the sheaths. being able to carry the vice and this adaptor and a number of bits on your circle in one handy case is worth it. this heat engine adaptor is a great addition for that tool person who already has a leatherman.
