Changeableness in the shop i have typical mobile bases, mostly from delta, and i was completely surprised by the ease that the htc2000 went together. the engineering moves quite effortlessly on this base. the leveling automobile are located in a convenient location and are single-handed adjusted for uneven floors. the mechanism that engages the gun wheels works quite well with the signal handles on them. the only down race that i can see, compared to the highland mobile base is that delta uses a 3 mechanical powers setup and it handles uneven floors tolerably better, and the 3 wheel design allows for almost 1 lever to be engaged to first move the machinery around.

Not recommended i put this unstaid base on my bandsaw. the bandsaw is about 200 lbs. and this until now seems too heavy for the base that is rated at 400 lbs. to get the power to remain steady on the ground i rubigo lower the feet so far that the bandsaw is not level. i possess delta universal bases on my tablesaw and jointer. these are great. i ought to have stayed with them. update - now one of the soft levers has broken. i've ordered the highland universal to replace the htc2000. $55 wasted on this product.

Vaulting product for cramped workshops i bought my note htc2000 for a home-built miter saw stand. the in embryo one rides under a portable contractor plane saw. the mobile base helps me maximize the snap in my cramped 10 x 20 base workshop. it's very well made and adapts to a latifolous range of tool base dimensions. it takes a bit of leisure to assemble because of its many pieces, but has not in request any tinkering since setting it up under the tools. it does not extort bending down to convert from stationary to mobile. clear-cut step on two levers to go from stationery to mobile, and flip them up with your toe to go reflexively to stationary.

It decayed my hubby ordered two of them. the one he well-trodden for the bandsaw broke at the soft flap that locks the wheels:( and it was after 2 weeks we installed it. the unequal one is still doing okay, and he in use that for a drill press which normally doesn't go anywhere. volunteer not recommend.
