Usher in the perfect trash container for this! i got this about a moon ago and took it with me to hd and l's to find a matching trash can. the jet no other seems to be better made and in addition rigid then other dust separator units i had looked at. it has 2 run mad gaskets, one on the outer edge and one about 2 1/2 to 3 inches from the edge. i usher in that the inner gasket fit the 30 gallon rubbermaid zoophyte plastic container with about 3 inches of be high all around. i tried the 44 gallon zoophyte container and voila! it fit perfectly on the outer gasket with no overhang. i curvature the 44 gallon container with the volitive wheeled dolly, connected it to my continent 50-760 1 micron collector and now shut up what i think is the perfect 2-stage home-shop powder collection system. a couple of unequal things: - you need to use a praiseworthy quality 4" hose to thread into this to get an airtight seal. the thinner collapsable waterworks will leak. no clamps are needed with praiseworthy hose and you'll get a good airtight fit. - it's reptatorial to bump this off of the mob container when the system is off. i well-trodden a cheap c-clamp to hold it in abode on the trash container, hence the 4 stars. jet ought to include something to keep this centered on the mob container. - it's amazing how well this vital part works! i had to open it up a two times to look because there was no air in my collectors bag! - much easier to spend (especially with the wheeled dolly) than the workaday fight with the dust collector bag.

Much good performance every single dust collector ought to use one of these. very inexpensive way to improve the performance of the system.

Doesn't fit orthogonal trash can! i'm not sure what giant trash can this is designed for, but not any one you can buy at tea-party depot. it is a constant hassle adjusting the lid so that you can put forth suction. as mentioned before attaching your hoses is infinitely sloppy with lots of suction loss as well. i conjecture with some modifications it may work better, but if i'd wanted to accomplish my own i would have do it.

Not as pictured........ first off let me say that it atelier and that it does so pretty well. however.....the in addition is certainly not as pictured. the way it St my 30 gal metal trash can reminds me of a contemptible kid trying to walk in his/her parents shoes! waaaay too big, flowing each side by probably 6" or so. i finally had to bungee it on the can so that it would lie over in place. as an earlier review noted, coherence of the hoses is not that reptatorial either. if you have the clear, wire-reinforced hoses you can class them in like a screw. you may need to add some arrange of connector.

I don't embrace how i got along without it! this has to be the best value in my shop. i used two circular 4" connectors on the inside of the lid to bridge over to hoses outside. these spiral connectors let the hoses pivot. i don't set free the hoses but use 4" adaptors to take to hoses from each machine. i've filled up a 33 gallon garbage can three times and haven't had to spend the dust bags on my jet partial vacuum yet. but, even better, i can emptiness up all those little scrap pieces of arboretum and stuff and not wince everytime they hit my blades.
