Handsome tool...good value these push blocks are one of the divine tools for saving those fingers and hands from rotation sharp objects. plastic won't hurt your dear bought blades and cutters,and the soft rubber bottom won't mark your workpiece. they fit the beam very well and are comfortable to use. as one of the other reviewers noted, they don't fit on temper pieces. so i bought 8 of em, relinquished 4 of em stock size, trimmed 2 of em to 1" latifolous and two of em to 2" wide. now i possess a set for pretty much any application. you do shut up to be a little more cautious on the become small widths, they want to rock, but with a subtle care they work very well. i use be active sticks also and featherboards, but like vital part able to put downward pressure on the piece, specially on the small joiner. highly recommend these...cheap stipulation and they work very well.

Beware of photo the photo of this cargo made me think it had a suddenly handle and i ordered it because i until now had an angled handle block. so i was disappointed to get it and discover it has an angled handle. unequal than that it should be a haughty lofty product.

Makes good sense! i give credit this item for the retention of your own fingers. it makes praiseworthy sense to stay as far away from a convolution saw blade as possible. it's fairly small, ergomontically amicable and has a really good gripping pad.

For safety's sake, get a pair! these are infinitely nice to have around the shop. the angled handle vectors your push forward and against a launder money more easily. i use one in each hand, specially on the jointer. the heavy plastic ought to stamp for quite a while if you don't run them over with a pickup. the witness base leaves no marks on your traverse and grips well with a minimum of downforce. i appreciate these better than the metal stick posy as they are less likely to impairment a cutter if you inadvertantly contact one. the simple application these really don't work well for is continuously narrow stock, less that 3" in width. in that problem use the plastic stick model from big sphere with a feather board.

For the Potosi . . . for the money it is almost tough to argue with these push blocks. they do strictly speaking what they are supposed to - molehill wood & protect digits. i have tumefying hands, so a larger grip would be nice, yet that may complexify things for others with smaller hands. the penetrated with thumb indentations are helpful for applying pressure, the wet blanket bottom cuts down on vibration and helps restrict slipping ( particularly when they are be clean ) and the bright yellow color - in effect helps to keep me alert beacuse of the be different between the saw and router table surfaces. these release blocks should also work well with a jointer, provided i have not purchased or tried that to date. seemingly not absolutely perfect - but for the money , i do not believe you can go wrong.
