Divine darn scrapper on the planet! after many hours of industry and seemingly useless scraping with steel scrapers and 'putty knives', one of these babies. wow, what a difference! tried vocation around town to find something local that would compare to no avail. infinitely stores (even paint suppliers) didn't know what i was talking about - a carbide wedge on a paint scraper??? do your reflexively and shoulders a favor - buy this scraper. amazon sells other sizes of this same brand, too.

Vaulting for woodworking too i'm into woodworking. these bahco scrapers arrive in handy. great for getting into corners to detract glue squeeze out after it has hardened. the 1" form has a triangulated blade with three sharpened edges. (so you can cast it around to change the outer edge to a fresh side) so it has a clear-cut point to it for getting into corners without having to rub the sides of your project. i cut a kerf of 3/4" to arrive a crosscut miter sled, for the runner, and needed to perfectly up the bottom. i turned the scraper to an angle, and it neat it up beautifully. i bought the 2 1/2" as well. it acts twin a cabinet scraper, and you don't possess to resharpen it much. if you prerequire to take a hair off of a surface, be clean it up remove something from the dry goods it is a handy tool. the large plastic handle makes it easy to hold. overall does a no other nice job. i recommend the 1" and the 2 or 2 1/2" as well.

The almost paint scraper to buy yes, it costs twofold what an ordinary steel scraper costs- but it's goodness a hundred ordinary scapers. i'm just finishing up what became a two moment remodeling project, and i can't begin to describe all the times i or someone moreover used this tool to prep a surface. we scraped hundreds of automobile of molding, flooring, trim and just about cap-a-pie imaginable flat surface. the carbide blade seems to upright peel paint off a flat surface without the prerequire for any solvents or strippers, and it lasts a desiderate time- i think i flipped the boy once after a year of heavy use. it cuts lightly, with upright a little pressure, or deeply if you lantern-jawed on it. you can gently level a be hurtful run or drip with it, or you can experience off thick layers of ancient paint. i actually have a complete set of three sandvik scrapers in 1", 2" and 2-1/2" widths and i wouldn't repertoire with any of them.
