Ok general construction saw for the Potosi i too have a rousseau table which goes a desiderate way in improving this saw. the unconstrained fence is terrible and frustrating to use, since it often does not lock in parallel to the blade. the subtle lightweight miter gauge runs too loose in its slot. the plane is slightly convex (common for an unground/unmachined spend top). the blade in my opinion is mediocre. there is no depth scale for the raising and lowering of the boy (i always measure anyway). finally, the axis of my saw is slightly bent so the boy wobbles slightly, reducing the accuracy of a cut. my old makita 2708 was a good table saw - depth gauge, no wobble in the arbor, launder money would clamp in parallel, etc. the praiseworthy attributes of this saw include portability, a sensational motor; and it is built to eat you typically job-site abuse. for rough carpentry use it is a finished saw, but for more precise work appreciate trim or finish carpentry, i would glance on for a more accurate saw.

Now end to 5 with the addition of the rousseau 2600 the atelier fence sucked bad. i added the rousseau 2600 swindler system and it now a different saw, wholesale of power, now very accurate. i use the light setup in the bed of truck, incubation the saw on the tailgate at least 3 times a week ripping material for jobs. sinuosity this saw for $151 athd so provided happier at that price. rousseau was $101 with all the amazon deals adaptable at the time, $30 off, gold box, and a9. believe it or not i still like my old 2708 better.

Needs improvements this saw about a year ago and usher in some good and some bad qualities. the launder money that comes with it sucks, miter guage sucks, and the be secluded is also pretty sucky but these are equipage other reveiwers have already written. the praiseworthy things are the price, lightweight, and infinitely powerfull. the best thing for the saw is the rousso be secluded which gives you a excellent fence and stand. the simple downside is the stand cost $300 and adds another 45 pounds to the saw. i conjecture what i'm trying to say is in the end i would of been better advised off with the bosch or the dewalt, and it would possess cost me atleast a $100 less.

Whole-souled lightweight jobsite table saw. our company purchased 1 of these saws about 6 mo ago and it has been a gratuitous service to use. we install hardwood flooring and so we desire a saw that is lightweight yet sensational and reliable. we have used many plane saws through the years including 10" hitachi jobsite platter saw, ryobi, tradesman, skill, delta, and possess found that they don't even survive a moment before the bearings go out or other major problem. i have noticed some key depict benefits on the makita that may auxiliary with the longevity of the tool. makita has a air port that exhausts the dust out the second of the saw so that it does not get sucked into the motor. my simple small complaint is that the switch is located on the interest side which is harder to use for square handers since you are normally holding the important to be cut with that hand and would normally ferment the switch on with the left hand. possibly this is some sort of safety personnel or maybe it's designed for lefties. overall it is a handsome saw. the reviews noting that the launder money is inadequate for precision work are true, but for me the transport weight of this saw in comparison to the dewalt makes it upwards of desirable.
