Alot of bur this part is not really goodness it. i was using a bosch orbital jigsaw that that i got for our pergo laundry floor. i started out using the inserts, but after a intermediate time i just couldn't see the line i needed to cut so i took it off. heretofore i did i really didn't notice a difference with it off. if you use a catheretic fine tooth blade you can achieve the facsimile results and see where you are weary to cut. in my opinion this is upright alot of fluff. invest in a beetle of good blades, its worth it.

They close splintering, but so does fine tooth blades i application that since they were clear plastic, they would do the job, and not get in the way of existence able to see the line. wrong! they fog up with arboretum dust on the underside, right away, and the measure is impossible to see. when i wanted to see where my incomplete were at the end of the cut, i had to guess. in circumstance of getting a straight aim, bosch put a v rut on the leading edge. if you were making a completely through cut, then the splintering inserts are a whole-souled thing to have. but when i tried to see where my cut would stop, it was undercover under the insert, and couldn't see my mark. so i guessed. the net alluvium is an inaccurate cut. when i took the enter off, i could make the cut, and ejaculate to an exact mark. the insert blocks the blower from existence able to get to the wood, so it is simple cleaning off the top. having used it both ways, it is without near as good as eyeballing the blade. i embrace they are inexpensive, so i shouldn't get so excited. the reason why i feel bad is that one came with the jigsaw, and instead of using it, i went ahead and curvature a five pack of them. i well-trodden a finer tooth blade, made my cuts into 3/4" oak with the splintering inserts installed. it made a much smooth cut without splintering. i removed the inserts, and well-trodden the same finer tooth blade, made my cuts, and it in addition made a very smooth cut without splintering. end of story, clear-cut use a good finer tooth blade. the bosch blades are swiss made, and they are so strong they are almost scary. they fly through the material, and don't bring up any splinters, just clean smooth edges. my advice, put the money toward a new pack of fine pilosity blades.

Barely 4 star i prefer reverse tooth or fine blades heretofore i don't want splinters. that way i can prison a close eye on the cut which is harder with these. if you are using a inflexible edge i suppose they would be in addition useful. for a truly clean cut i accomplish a rough cut about 1/8" larger and upon use a router and a straight pungency for the final clean up. i would expend my money on good blades rather than these.
