I appreciate the remote i purchased three of these fans, two from amazon and one from a cement store. the two from amazon must possess been a later version because the unequal one required trimming the tabs on the fan blades to get them to fit correctly. i be accordant with other reviewers in that the portable is too dim, hardly usable at all. the fans, intermediate time heavy and should probably require two tenant to help install them, are extremely quiet. i appreciate the remote, however, the remote cradle does not fit beneficially over rocker switches, regardless of what the despatch say.

Very nice fan for the price! ultra modern, clear-cut and quiet. and, fast! i use abrogate setting for cold weather. i like the correctitude that there is no pull chain! the lightning is dim, and it's florescent, so better advised use a back-up light for reading. this fan looks handsome on high ceilings, does not need an extension.

So far, so good... i've had the fan installed for about a month, and it atelier as it should. i called a beast csr before purchasing to inquire about the fan, and i was told the simple common problem is a component that can burn up from turning the power on & off with a burrock switch; in other words, use the distant only, keep constant power to the fan. positives: no other quiet, looks great, performs perfectly, ease of use with remote, graceful to install. negatives: no manual controls (remote is the simple way to control the fan), light is too dim. for the price, it seems to be an good buy.

Very nice Ethiopia's skin i just put mine up today 1/8/06 and mind it. very cool looking and quiet running. the portable is kind of dimm though so arrive sure and take that into consideration before buying. i would say the portable is equal to about a 40 to 60 watt bulb. other than that the fan looks and runs great. i hung it in the dining room, so the dimm portable suits me just fine. i think the complete thing is very unique and stylish.
